The Killers at Hard Rock Calling UK

The Killers have announced that they will headline the opening night of Hard Rock Calling on 24th June 2011.

They return as headliners after a year’s absense, having performed in 2009 as part of their Day & Age tour.

Ronnie Vannucci had the following to say about the gig: “It’s been too long, friends… Feels like forever since we’ve seen each other and now it’s time we pay a visit. Have to get the machine oiled and ready to make this kinda thing happen more often. Feeling creative, let’s do this.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9am on Thursday 21st April, Hard Rock Calling subscribers have access to a pre-sale starting 9am Wednesday 20th April and members of The Victims should check their emails or log on for details of a Victim only pre-sale.

Brandon Flowers played a last minute short set at El Evento 40 in Mexico last night. The set included just 3 songs, Crossfire, Only The Young and Mr. Brightside.

Ronnie Announces Album and Tour

Ronnie Vannucci has today announced more details for his forthcoming solo album via The Killers fan club The Victims.

The album, which will be called Big Talk, is set to be released in the summer and, commitments with The Killers permitting, he will be taking the album on tour. The band, also called Big Talk, includes Taylor Milne who plays guitar on the record.

Ronnie has set up his own record company in order to release this album, called Little Oil.
